ABOUT

The Children's Literacy Guild of Alabama (TCLG) was created to fight against children's illiteracy throughout the state by improving public awareness of the problem, recruiting volunteers and assisting in fundraising efforts.

TCLG is a non-profit, service organization of women from all over the state of Alabama.

• The membership is open, inclusive and strives to reflect diversity in age, race, religion and geography.

• The rules governing TCLG will allow the organization to grow and support literacy in a wide variety of ways.
