Book It Bash
Join this new committee to help plan our social outreach events.  The first bash was a great success and we need lots of people to plan the fun for the spring!

Birmingham Reads
CLG is teaming up with The Junior League of Birmingham and the Central Alabama Literacy Council to present a major children's literacy events throughout the city.  Birmingham Reads will include "United We Read" and "Birmingham's Biggest Book Drive".  Our members will be involved in many aspects of the event and we need plenty of workers and leaders for a variety of sub-committees.

Better Basics Program Volunteer
Work with any of the great Better Basics Programs (MORE, Ready 2 Read, One on One Tutoring).  Refer to the Better Basics web site for full details.  This is a great way to work directly with children!

Better Basics Office Volunteer
Assist with filing, sorting books, making phone calls, and whatever else is needed!  Choose your own hours.  They can use help as much or as little as you can be there.
